The Monument to the Indigenous Woman honors our Taíno heritage.  Its configuration was designed to help the circulation of vehicles at the intersection of three avenues.  At the city of Caguas' main entrance, a pedestal supporting the sculpture of a Taíno woman with extended arms welcoming all visitors is centered in a beautiful fountain.  Around its base there are seven pineapples symbolizing Caguas' seven roads connecting it to San Juan, Aguas Buenas, Cidra, Cayey, San Lorenzo, Gurabo & Trujillo Alto.
