The Jayuya Urban Center Rehabilitation project consists of the reform of the Monument La Tumba del Indio and the steps that connect it to the town center Plaza.  It also includes the reform of sidewalks to create a pedestrian walk that leads to the new open space created to have visual access to the river that passes through town.  A new pedestrian bridge is designed to cross the Rio Grande of Jayuya River and connect the town center to the suburban residential area.  Also, the project reforms the surrounding town blocks by moving the electric and communications lines underground, improving the conditions of the sidewalks and adding urban furniture.
