Fortaleza & San Francisco Streets at Old San Juan historic zone are the main circulation arteries of the area. The extent of the work consists of converting the vehicular arteries into pedestrian walks, while allowing vehicular traffic during designated hours.  Streets are raised to the sidewalk level defining its primary use as a pedestrian walkway.  Landscaping and urban accessories are carefully placed as to enhance the pedestrian environment and promote the commercial activity in the area.
